Success Stories
“q1 done and tallied total to $4k (citi premier, cic, amex schwab, amex biz platinum, discover savings $200, and fluz churning). Feeling the momentum finally feel like I got my footing (totally new to this - had to rewire my brain and make a few charts to get this down - teaching my bro was how it set in my brain - he's on slack too). Thanks to BTBum for doing this!” -sin nombre
“Couldn’t recommend BowTiedBum Substack + Slack channel any more. I’m on pace to clear $2,500+ with <1 month of work. Check it out.” -BowTiedAllocator
“Wanted to share my testimonial...Started late around mid February following the plan and I should close Q1 with 150,000 Chase UR and 17k+ Citi ThankYou Points. This was with minimal effort and by no means maxing out the earning potential.” -BowTiedTwoMew (BowTiedBum Note: This is $1,600+ in 1.5 months)
“Hey Bum. Passing on my wins for your post. I've had a very successful Q1. I got started late so really only had a 2 month quarter. Even with the later start, I was able to finish 2 CIC bonuses using mainly MS + organic spend. So 180,000 UR points for the bonus + 58,000 UR points. Also with grocery being a bonus category this quarter for existing Freedom and Hyatt cards, I maxed both those out for $75 back from Freedom and I don't recall what the max was for Hyatt but ended up with nearly 10k Hyatt points between that and some MS spend while waiting on my CIC cards to arrive. I also was approved for the Premier card a couple weeks ago so currently working on that SUB. So all said, I'm almost at $4000!” -BowTiedPacMan
“75,000 Chase UR points transferred to Air Canada, booked Vancouver (YVR) to Tokyo (HND) on partner Air Nippon Airways business class with lay-flat seats (and a connecting flight from my home to YVR). Approximate value = $4500 --> 6 cents per UR point. Not an epic redemption, but it will be the nicest flight I've ever been on, and I had a hell of a time finding award availability to Japan.” - Dan
“Basically I think it’s been about a $3k quarter. not bad considering i didn’t find u until end of Jan, so definitely room to move up from here next Q.” -BowTied Charlie Horse
