I first found
about 10 years ago back when they were WallStreetPlayboys. I remember reading every article and every single comment and felt like I got punched in the gut. Never before, had I read such blunt truths about how to become successful in life. While I luckily made pretty decent choices up until this point, at the time, I assumed sales was slimy and too much of a grind, tech/Silicon Valley was for nerds, and that being loyal to a company for a long time (even in a non revenue generating role) would pay off. Boy, was I wrong. The below “Money Making Machine” post changed my life forever and there were times where I wish I could have unread it. It lit a fire under me, and from that day forward, I was determined to start my WiFi money journey ASAP at any cost.http://web.archive.org/web/20150217144027/http://wallstreetplayboys.com/money-making-machine
The problem was, I was plagued with analysis paralysis, and felt like I had to learn everything there was about affiliate marketing before I started. I signed up to StackThatMoney back in the day and paid the $99 membership and barely read it the first month. I kept putting it off. Eventually I canceled it. A few months later I signed up, only to cancel it a couple months later. I did this a few times, more than I’d like to admit. After a long week at work, I dedicated the weekend to reading as many posts as I could, determined to take action. I kept searching for some magic post to appear, that would spell out step by step how to make money ASAP with little effort. But that obviously never came. After months of reading, I could tell you all about different affiliate marketing methods, which ones were the best, and how to execute them. Yet I kept delaying actually starting and putting in the work. Too busy watching sports, hanging out at bars with friends, and dating. Constantly making excuses and putting it off. I eventually started an affiliate marketing biz that was different from any of the content on that StackThatMoney site, and just figured things out as I went. I did things my own way. The first few dollars I generated online was one of the greatest feelings I’ve ever experienced. But it required taking action, which I regret not doing sooner.
ACTION
The biggest lesson I’ve learned from
(and from my own experience) is that taking action (and sometimes failing) is a million times better than simply reading about something. It’s the best way to make progress and you’ll figure things out as you go along. Think about what you want in 2023. Want to get jacked? Subscribe to , pick a program and commit to it for at least 6 months. Want to become a better cook? Subscribe to and commit to cooking 3 new recipes a week for 3 months. By taking action and being consistent there’s no way you’ll fail. If you want 2023 to be the year you start making WiFi money, take action. The blueprint is here, but this is only the beginning, and not meant to be the end all be all. It’s meant to be a stepping stone. If you make an extra $10K, $20K, or $30K this year, will it make you rich? No! Not by a long shot. The end goal is to give you your first taste of WiFi money so that you’ll eventually start your scalable internet business that generates money in your sleep. Something happens psychologically, when you click a few buttons on the computer and generate money. Once you hit your $10K that you earned simply by clicking a few buttons on the computer, you’ll question everything. How many other niches are similar to this where you can make money with just some basic niche knowledge? (Spoiler alert: TONS!) By making $10K WiFi money this year, you’ll learn that this is just the beginning of your WiFi money journey, and that anything is possible with the internet and the power of scaling.2023 Roadmap: a path to success
I started this project with the goal of getting EVERY paid subscriber to $10K+ WiFi money by the end of 2023. As the community quickly grew, I told
that the BowTiedBum community alone will earn a collective $1M by the end of 2023. This is not hyperbole. I am 100% committed to making this happen.Since hoping and dreaming is not a good strategy, I am creating a system in place to make it as easy as possible for everyone to hit the $10K+ goal (and beyond).
Here’s how:
Slack Channel
The official BowTiedBum community slack channel is now live for paid subscribers! Channel membership will be available at no additional cost for paid Substack subscribers. To be clear, if you are an active paid Substack subscriber, you will also get access to the Slack channel. The idea is to create a build-from-within community where we can share the latest news, tips, and tricks to ensure that everyone reaches the $10K+ goal. I’ll also use the channel for small updates that wouldn’t require a whole Substack post. This will be a great way to share manufactured spending tips, data points, and other tidbits that will help everyone along their journey.
To join the channel, please DM me on Twitter with the email you use for your paid Substack subscription. I’ll send you an invite in the next day or two, and as long as your Substack paid membership is active, you’ll also have access to the Slack channel.
Fluz formal onboarding
While some members have had success with Fluz, Fluz’s application process has been a bit more difficult for others. I personally had a call with their staff last week, and they are going to set up a formal onboarding process, in which I’ll be able to fasttrack applicants, so they can get up and running ASAP. We’ll have a separate Fluz follow up post that covers the new process in more detail and some additional Fluz tips for success.
Bank Account Bonuses
I originally wanted to only cover credit cards and couch MS, but I am going to expand to some real life MS and cover bank account bonuses to ensure everyone has the smoothest path to $10K+. Bank account bonuses work a little bit differently, you usually need to deposit a minimum amount of money into the newly opened account, and leave it in there for a certain amount of days, and then you're eligible for the cash bonus. Bank account bonuses are usually much smaller than credit card signup bonuses. Usually $100 to a few hundred dollars. I’ll be covering bank account bonuses in depth in a future post.
International Play
While this community is US focused, I am still committed to figuring out options for non-US residents to get involved. The problem is I’ve only ever lived in the US and usually don’t like to post anything that I haven’t done myself and know well. While it’s still a work in progress, if I can figure out plays for multiple card issuers for non-US residents, I’ll make a post about it.
Closing Thoughts
As the community grows, I plan on keeping the paid memberships $10 per month or $100 per year. In exchange for the tools and system that will help you earn $10K+. Seems pretty reasonable to me. If you are on the fence or think the price is too high, feel free to DM me on Twitter with any questions or concerns. While I have just about every credit card under the sun, I’ll periodically share posts about which cards I’m working on and how I’m earning rewards. I’m dedicated to optimizing this community to make it as easy as possible to succeed, so I’m open to feedback. But I can’t take action for you, I can only give you the tools to do it. 2023 will be the best year to be alive and I’m 100% dedicated to this journey.
I’ll be taking action, will you?
